As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Smithton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. You will respond to concerns, communicate clearly, and provide exceptional customer service while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Monday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thursday 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Saturday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

Sunday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail store, sales floor, stock areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential hazards, and policy violations, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and coordination with store leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
