Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver in Sioux Falls, SD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Pay Rate: $19.48 / Hour

Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production environment.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout production, warehouse, shipping and receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate logs and reports of observed activities and incidents.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while reporting hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
