Location

It is located just steps from the financial district, Union Square, the Moscone Convention Center, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Contemporary Jewish Museum.
Position
We are recruiting for a Security Officer position.
Responsibilities
- Safeguard the hotel, guests and associates’ property from vandalism, theft and crime.
- Monitor and control the movement of all associates, visitors and contractors entering or leaving the hotel.
- Handle all tasks with diplomacy, tact, discretion and efficiency.
- Record and control all visitors’ belongings and items when accessing the hotel premises.
- Ensure unauthorized personnel do not gain access to hotel floors and back‑of‑house areas.
- Be fully conversant with every detail of the hotel layout.
- Check current events, activities and functions during duty.
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and comfort of all guests.
General Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of security or law‑enforcement experience; luxury hotel experience preferred.
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, creative, fast‑paced environment.
- Outgoing and people‑oriented personality.
- Effective interpersonal skills and strong team‑player attitude.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in English (Spanish/Tagalog/Mandarin a plus).
- Familiar with state and local safety regulations (e.g., OSHA). CPR/First aid certification is a plus.
