Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a college law campus. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide welcoming customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, campus policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, student, and employee activity in accordance with location procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
