As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms and access concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that delivers with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $24.37 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 05:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense-related business location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site policies; assist with visitor processing, contractor entry, and delivery coordination as assigned.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access-related activity, and other security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
