Summary
Provides a visual and physical deterrent to crime on the hospital campus while promoting a good customer service relationship with patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
- All patients, visitors, and staff are served by providing 24-hour electronic and physical observation of the hospital campus in an effort to provide a secure working environment.
- Ensures that all hospital safety and security, policies and procedures are conformed with on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications
- High school or Equivalent
- Three years' experience in security, civilian/military law enforcement or an equivalent military career field.
- Valid North Carolina Driver License required.
- Basic Law Enforcement Training Certification (BLET) preferred, but not required.
- Officers are expected to possess a minimal proficiency in typing text, answering telephones and interviewing people. In addition, they must be able to file information and accomplish various administrative tasks.
