As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Monterey, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic education location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors. Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus guests while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of campus buildings, academic areas, residence areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate campus contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
