Security Officer
Provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Responds to all incidents occurring on hospital campus; conducts patrols on foot and in vehicles; responds to emergencies; provides public safety services to patients, visitors, and staff; enforces medical center rules and regulations; identifies and reports safety hazards and conditions; prepares incident reports and related written communications. Requires high school diploma and a minimum of one year of security related experience or completion of a criminal justice program at an accredited school; current and valid Mass. drivers license; excellent driving record; must have, or be able to obtain, CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire; flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays; defensive tactics, reserve intermittent police academy training, and CPR certification desired.
