What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials or authorization in accordance with site procedures, directing visitors and contractors to appropriate check-in processes.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, patrol observations, access-related activity, and unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
