As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a premier aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and support a professional, secure environment. You will use strong customer service and communication skills while assisting with security-related procedures and technology. Mon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Fri 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Sat 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide professional customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and guests at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, following site-specific entry procedures, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while supporting a professional and welcoming reception environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
