Job Description

As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Freeport, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, and support timely responses to security-related incidents. You will maintain clear records, provide outstanding customer service, and help promote a secure environment through teamwork and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor dispatch communications, receive and prioritize calls for service, document incidents, and coordinate the response of on-site personnel and emergency resources.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and records for alarms, access concerns, incidents, and other security-related activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, reporting unusual conditions, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
