Job Description
As a Security Officer Driving Access Operations in Texas City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a driving Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. - Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, process visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control logs and records.
- Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual activity, unsecured entry points, and potential hazards.
- Support a professional, controlled environment at a chemical and petrochemical location by communicating site requirements and reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
