Job Description

As a Security Officer Corporate Office Full Time Morning Patrol in San Diego, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology and media location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and report concerns promptly. Pay Rate: $25.29 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology and media location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems; verify credentials and report unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately; communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
