As a Security Officer Clinical Area Patrol in Leawood, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.03 / Hour

Day Time Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific escalation and reporting procedures.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and directing patients and visitors to appropriate locations in accordance with facility policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Be willing to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to restrain individuals.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
