As an Armed Security Officer at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and staff. You will respond to incidents, communicate clearly, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors at a cultural institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas while maintaining a professional armed presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and coordinating with emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout galleries, public spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting hazards or unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possession of an armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
