As an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

DayTime Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, restricted-area access, and the reporting of unusual activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO certification is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
