Job Description
As a Security Officer - Alarm Panel Operator in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will respond to alarms and security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or client personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
