As a Security Officer - Afternoon Rover in Phoenix, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Monitor access points, assist with badge-related processes, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter incidents. • Tue: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and public-service partners while providing directions, assistance, and support for security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
