As a Security Officer Patrol Access Verification in Waltham, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and patients. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare and life sciences location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting entries, observations, and incidents as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
