As a Part-Time Security Officer in Mooresville, IN, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access points, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

DayTime Fri 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM

Sun 04:00 PM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain accurate logs and reports, and communicate relevant observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support a professional workplace environment by assisting with traffic flow, employee and visitor directions, and other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
