Insight Global is seeking a Security Technician (Non-Licensed) for a leading security and life-safety solutions provider. This candidate will support field technicians in the installation, testing, programming, and servicing of security, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems at customer locations throughout the Cincinnati area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on security industry experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, and excellent customer service skills. Day-to-Day:

• Assist existing field technicians with installation and servicing of security systems

• Install, test, and program security, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV equipment

• Troubleshoot system issues and support service activities

• Travel to customer locations throughout the Cincinnati market

• Educate customers on the operation and use of newly installed systems

• Complete work according to company and customer standards

• Maintain tools, equipment, and job-site readiness

Skills and Requirements

Must-Haves:

• Technical background in security systems installation and service

• Experience working with security panels and devices

• Experience assisting field technicians on customer job sites

• Knowledge of security, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems

• Reliable personal transportation

• Valid driver's license and ability to drive personal vehicle for work

• Ability to transport a minimum 6-foot step ladder, tools, and equipment

• Strong customer-facing communication skills Plusses:

• Previous ADT/Tyco, low-voltage, or alarm industry experience

• Experience programming security systems

• Experience training end users/customers on security systems

• Multi-system exposure across fire, CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems
