Security/Infrastructure Project ManagerProject ManagerWaltham, MAJO- Technical Project Manager: Bring your project management expertise to our team and support the delivery of business projects and programs—on schedule and to the client's complete satisfaction. Working with a business analyst and/or the business owner, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific business projects primarily with our InfoSec team, ensuring consistency with the company's strategy, commitments, and goals.As a project manager, your responsibilities would include:Facilitating the definition of the project scope, milestones, goals, and deliverablesWorking with the product owner to understand the project vision and gather and document high level business requirements which can be translated into key project activitiesDefining project tasks and resource requirements from various in-house teamsDeveloping project plans at the task, milestone, and resource levelCollaborating with technical resources (DBAs, network administrators, etc.) to break the project into proper phases and clearly identify deliverables for each phaseTracking project against plan—anticipating events that may require a contingency plan, recommending corrective action, and ensuring stakeholders are kept informedEnsuring that issues are properly identified, documented, tracked, and resolvedProviding management, direction, and support to the project teamThe ideal candidate for this position should meet the following requirements:Experience:5+ years of project management experience/education working on technical projects of various sizes and complexityPrior business analysis experience gathering and documenting high level business requirements, a plusPrior experience working with Information Security (InfoSec), a plus2 to 5 years of direct technology experience focused on infrastructure systems (data center management, networking, system engineering, infrastructure architecture)Experience working independently, as well as in a team-oriented collaborative environmentAble to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesProven ability to provide exceptional customer service, including analysis of issues for true root-cause resolutionFamiliar with ITIL standardsKnowledge and experience with Agile project management methodology, a definite plusKnowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS), beneficialA background in financial services, a plusSkills:Strong, clear communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)Persuasive, adaptable, encouraging, and motivatingAn independent learnerAn eye for detail
