Location: Harrisonburg, VA 2802
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday & Wednesday 12am-8am
Saturday & Sunday 4pm-12am
Job Summary: The Security Officer will assist staff in maintaining a safe and secure shopping environment for customers and employees. The officer will monitor activity and respond to security alarms while providing professional customer service.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor activity to ensure a safe environment for customers and employees.
- Observe visitor and employee behavior for suspicious activity and report concerns to management.
- Respond to exit door alarms and politely verify receipts when alarms are activated.
- Conduct routine patrols throughout the building and surrounding areas to identify potential security concerns.
- Document incidents, suspicious activity, and security concerns in written reports.
- Work closely with store management and staff to address safety or security issues.
- Provide professional customer service while enforcing store policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
