Job Description

As a Security Guard Patrol in Rancho Cucamonga, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government human services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring, reliable approach.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government human services location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related responsibilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
