As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Response in Secaucus, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic media and technology location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. • Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, guests, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of media production offices, common areas, studios, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
