Security Officer – Gatehouse Officer (Lakewood Ranch)
Signal Security is seeking a professional, polished, and customer-focused Security Officer to staff a high-end residential gatehouse in Lakewood Ranch. This position requires an individual who takes pride in their appearance, communicates clearly and professionally, and provides exceptional service to residents and guests while maintaining security standards.
Responsibilities:
- Control access to the community by verifying residents, guests, vendors, and visitors.
- Greet residents and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
- Maintain a visible and welcoming presence at the gatehouse.
- Monitor community access and report suspicious activity.
- Enforce community policies and procedures.
- Complete daily activity and incident reports.
- Communicate effectively with residents, guests, property management, and fellow team members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional gatehouse environment.
Requirements:
- Valid Florida Class D Security License.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional appearance with strong attention to grooming and uniform standards.
- Ability to remain courteous and professional in all situations.
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
- Previous gatehouse, concierge, hospitality, or security experience preferred.
