As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide professional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and armed guard card or license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established post orders.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, post orders, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Have at least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
