Job Title
Job duties include:
- Independently performs access control for pedestrians and vehicles utilizing standard operating procedures, written orders and regulatory requirements as a guide to access determination for a wide range of unique circumstances
- Authenticates identification through use of electronic means such as the Defense Information System for Security Web application (DISS)
- Serves as the initial point of contact for the installation's visitors which may include foreign nationals, government agents, elective officials, media and Very Important Persons (VIP)
- Reports suspicious activities, unauthorized entry, fires, medical emergencies, criminal acts or other hazards
- Responsible for performing and resolving a full range of both standard procedural and non-recurring/unusual visitor access assignments
