Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.As a Security Field Supervisor, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.What's in it for you:Site Locations: Oakland, CASchedule: Full-Time / Monday to Friday / 10:00 PM to 6:30 AMCompetitive hourly wage of $35.95/hour (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance optionsCareer growth opportunities at GardaWorldUniform provided at no costResponsibilities of Security Supervisor:Day to supervisor operations such as training new officers, doing post checks, scheduling to make sure the site has zero dark posts, direct, supervise, and support shift officers.Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitorsManage access control and be ready to respond to any operational emergency and insure timely response, timely and efficient communications and accurate reportingEnsure that operational logs, records and post orders are maintained appropriately.Develop and maintain effective relationships with client and employees and serve as the liaison between GardaWorld, our client, and our assigned staffMaintain goal of zero safety incidents, while at the same time managing a robust safety culture and a robust safety program that is appropriate to the operating environmentsResponsible for corrective action and discipline of subordinate officers (up to formal warnings) and recommending and participating in other disciplinary decisions up to and including termination.Perform regular patrols to identify potential risksSupervise & manage employees on your shift at your assigned job site.Maintain a healthy, professional relationship with our client at the assigned site.Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needsRespond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teamsAnswer questions in person or by phoneWrite incident reports and communicate security concernsEnsure the safety and protection of individuals and propertyQualifications of a Surveillance Security Officer:Be authorized to work in the U.S.Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED6 months in a security leadership position required2 years of security industry experience is preferredMust have an active driver's licenseStrong report writing skillsSharp visual acuity and exceptional concentration skillsStrong proficiency with technologyIf you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!Must have a current BSIS issued Security License (Guard Card) and additional 32 hr. security trainings.
