We're looking for a Security Engineer with strong platform instincts to build our security foundation from first principles — across identity, infrastructure, and data systems.
You’ll create secure‑by‑default systems that scale with the company, without slowing down engineering.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement identity and access systems (IdP, IAM‑based auth, SSO)
- Centralize and secure secrets management (rotation, least privilege, auditing)
- Build cloud security controls across AWS (data protection, access guardrails)
- Develop security observability pipelines (logging, SIEM, detection)
- Enforce infrastructure security via Terraform / GitOps
- Improve application security (auth, API protection, multi‑tenant isolation)
- Partner with engineering to turn security into automated, developer‑friendly systems
- Define and execute a security architecture roadmap
Qualifications
- Strong background in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud security
- Hands‑on experience with:
- AWS (IAM, RDS, networking)
- Infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform)
- Experience building:
- Identity systems (SSO, IAM, IdP)
- Secrets management solutions
- Ability to design and ship end‑to‑end systems
- Strong communication and execution skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with tools like Wiz, Doppler, 1Password
- Familiarity with SIEM / security event pipelines
- Kubernetes or service mesh security
- Experience with sandboxing or secure execution
- Interest in AI / LLM security
