Role: Cloud Security Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Advise on enterprise-scale cloud security monitoring systems.
- Development & Scripting: Create and maintain automation scripts using Python or similar languages.
- Automation & Orchestration: Develop automated incident response playbooks to enhance CSOC processes.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Support team coordination, share expertise, mentor junior staff, and lead cyber exercises.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and AI applications for cloud security.
- Splunk Detection Development: Develop, tune, and optimize detection rules for cloud platforms using Splunk Query Language.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in cloud security or cyber operations
- 7+ years with Operating Systems, Network Infrastructure, Security Principles, or System Architecture
- 5+ years of AWS experience
- 3+ years of Python scripting
