In this role, you will play a key part in delivering secure, modern, and resilient solutions that empower our federal government client's mission. Lead a small team of architects/engineers to design secure cloud and enterprise solutions. You will set standards for IAM, segmentation, logging/telemetry, encryption, and automation, ensuring a resilient, telemetry-rich environment that empowers SOC operations.***This position is located in our Knoxville, TN office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable***Your Future Duties and Responsibilities:• Define secure architecture across AWS GovCloud and enterprise systems; ensure compliant IAM, network security, and data protection. • Establish logging/monitoring, telemetry, and integration patterns that enable detections and automation (IaC). • Lead engineers; own backlog, roadmap, production readiness; enforce change governance. • Partner with SOC to ensure design decisions support detections, playbooks, and KPIs. • Deliver centralized, role-based security dashboards; validate architecture and tool configurations.Required Qualifications to Be Successful in This Role:• 10+ years in cloud/security architecture; 3+ years leading engineering teams. • Expertise in IAM, micro-segmentation, CSPM/CWPP, DevSecOps, and automation (Terraform). • Experience integrating SIEM/SOAR/EDR/DLP/PAM/identity platforms; strong documentation skills. • Security clearance: Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust (or higher per client). • US Citizenship or Green Card Holder required.
