Daily Duties / Responsibilities
- Develop cloud architecture and lead technical discussions related to security, privacy, and compliance .
- Support migration of on-premise applications and services to Microsoft Azure .
- Lead Azure cloud administration and engineering activities.
- Support cloud infrastructure, networking, security, monitoring, and operational activities.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor architects and engineering staff.
- Stay current with Microsoft Azure and other cloud-platform technologies.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of Microsoft Azure / Microsoft Cloud Platform experience , including:
- Firewalls
- Operations Management Suite (OMS)
- Blob Storage
- Resource Groups
- Network Security Groups (NSG)
- Application Insights
- SQL Server and SQL DB
- Load Balancers
- 5+ years of AWS Cloud Platform experience , including:
- AWS Cloud
- AWS Administration
- Resource Allocation
- Network Connectivity
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent .
- 5+ years of equivalent professional experience may be substituted for formal education.
Required Certification
Candidate must have a relevant Microsoft Azure certification , including one of the following:
- Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
- Identity and Access Administrator Associate
- Security Operations Analyst
- Security Administrator
Preferred Skills
- Experience migrating on-premise solutions to cloud environments .
- Experience supporting operational hybrid cloud environments .
