The Securities Settlement Team Lead is an intermediate position responsible for supervising the daily workflow of Securities Settlement Services team in coordination with the Customer Service functions but with a main focus on settlement core activities. The overall objective is to ensure best‑in‑class settlement services and focused on building and retaining valuable client relationships and driving commitment to the delivery of Citi’s Custody products and services as a team lead.

Responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end Settlement services for Citi's clients on the Hungarian market for Hungarian securities as part of Custody services
• Act as an ambassador for clients in the Hungarian market, delivering top‑tier Custody services
• Participate in upcoming industry‑level projects and contribute to internal development and implementation projects
• Drive organizational change through innovation and process improvement, eliminating friction points within the team
• Promote operational excellence to ensure high‑quality service delivery and productivity
• Deliver an exceptional client experience by understanding and addressing clients' needs, with performance measured through established service and quality metrics
• Managing the team work of Securities Settlements

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Securities Settlement Operations; knowledge of the local market infrastructure is required
• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of SWIFT MT5XX messages and ISO 20022 messaging standards
• Strong project management skills
• People management skill is advantage but not required
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian
• Influencing and relationship management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
