Supervising Water Resource Control EngineerDuties: Under direction of the Assistant Executive Officer and consistent with good customer service practices and the goals of the State and Regional Board's Strategic Plan, the Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer serves as Enforcement Coordinator for the Regional Board, directing all activities within the Compliance and Enforcement Section. In this leadership role, the Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer also serves as the technical lead for the Section, applying advanced engineering principles and professional judgment to oversee the regulatory status of complex industrial, municipal, and stormwater facilities. The Supervising Water Resource Control Engineer directs the engineering evaluation and development of high-profile enforcement actions while providing complex investigations and enforcement actions across diverse frameworks including National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Permits, State Board's Sanitary Sewer System Waste Discharge Requirements, the Site Cleanup, Underground Storage Tank and Groundwater Permitting Programs, and the State Water Board's Industrial and Construction General Stormwater Permits.The applicants can review the Duty Statement attached.Additional information:Candidates must possess essential personal qualifications including integrity, initiative, dependability, good judgment, the ability to work cooperatively with others, and the ability to perform the assigned duties of the class.If the position requires driving, you must possess a current and valid Driver's License.
