Section Head for Vestibular Disorders

Northwell Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with expertise in Vestibular Disorders to join their Departments of Neurology and Otolaryngology. This role involves coordinating multi-disciplinary care for patients across two campuses, with opportunities for academic appointment and research. The successful candidate will contribute to building a robust cross-campus program for vestibular disorder treatment within one of New York's largest healthcare systems.

Practice Info

• Position based on Long Island, in the Department of Neurology
• See patients at Long Island Jewish Medical Center campus and Lenox Hill Hospital campus
• Collaboration with Otolaryngology departments at both campuses
• Opportunities for collaborative clinical and translational research

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary care for patients with vestibular disorders
• Participate in the training of residents and students
• See patients at Long Island Jewish Medical Center campus and Lenox Hill Hospital campus
• Build a robust cross-campus program for the treatment of patients with vestibular disorders

Requirements

• BC/BE Neurologist with a focus in Vestibular Disorders
• Completed an ACGME-accredited Neurology residency program
• Demonstrated excellence in the treatment of patients with vestibular disorders as evidenced by regional or national recognition as a leader in the management of these patients
• Special interest in the multidisciplinary care of the complex neurotologic, neoplastic, cranial nerve, skull base, neuroendocrine, and neurovascular patients is especially encouraged
