Insight Global is hiring a Secret Embedded Electronics Engineer who will design, develop, integrate, and test custom embedded electronic systems supporting advanced aerospace, robotics, and defense platforms. They will work hands-on with circuit design, PCB development, microcontrollers, sensors, communications devices, and other embedded hardware. The engineer will also develop and debug embedded firmware, perform hardware bring-up, and troubleshoot issues using laboratory test equipment. They will integrate new electronics and peripherals into larger system architectures and support testing of complete hardware and software solutions. This role will work in a fast-paced environment where engineers are expected to rapidly prototype, test, troubleshoot, and improve embedded systems.
Must Haves
- Active Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- Experience designing and developing embedded electronic systems, including schematic design, component selection, PCB development, and hardware bring-up
- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, embedded processors, or SoCs, including interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, and Ethernet
- Experience developing or debugging embedded firmware using C/C++ and troubleshooting with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, and other lab equipment
