Secret-Cleared Manufacturing Test Software Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Manufacturing Test Software Engineer in Nashua, NH for a 4-month onsite temporary contract supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Manufacturing Test Software Engineer will maintain and develop applications used to support factory production and hardware testing. This role includes debugging production issues, investigating hardware and software integration problems, and collaborating with hardware engineers to support a mission-critical missile-defense manufacturing initiative.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field, including formal education in computer or software technology, or equivalent education. • U.S. citizenship required. • Active Secret security clearance required to start. • Minimum of 2 years of NI TestStand experience. • Minimum of 2 years of C programming experience. • Win32 programming experience. • Experience working with oscilloscopes and electronic hardware. • Experience maintaining and developing application software and systems. • Experience debugging software issues in a production environment. • Ability to investigate hardware and software integration problems. • Experience providing in-person factory or manufacturing support. • Ability to collaborate with hardware engineers on system planning, design, development, and implementation. • Ability to work effectively within a small technical team. • Ability to work fully onsite in Nashua, NH.

Preferred Skills

• Embedded C experience. • HotLink experience. • Manufacturing test engineering experience. • 5+ years of experience supporting production test systems. • Experience with data management system activities.

What You'll Do

• Maintain existing manufacturing and test applications. • Develop and modify software used to support factory production. • Debug production software and system issues. • Investigate hardware, software, and system-integration problems. • Support NI TestStand-based test environments. • Develop and maintain applications using C and Win32 technologies. • Work with oscilloscopes and related electronic test hardware. • Collaborate with hardware engineers on data-processing and test-system solutions. • Provide direct onsite technical support to factory personnel. • Document software changes, troubleshooting activities, and production solutions. • Support additional test software and data-management activities as assigned.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. • 1st shift. • 9/80 schedule. • Overtime may be required. • No travel required.

Pay

$60.68 per hour
