Integration And Test Systems EngineerPGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Integration and Test Systems Engineer in Rolling Meadows, IL for a 4-month onsite contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.The Integration and Test Systems Engineer will support integration testing and evaluation of complex electronic systems from hardware and software design through aircraft installation. This role includes developing test plans, procedures, automation, and reports while executing integration test activities in system integration labs or offsite locations. The position requires troubleshooting experience across hardware, software, and firmware, along with an active Secret clearance.Required Skills• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field with 2+ years of related experience, or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and firmware issues. • Ability to work in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders across various disciplines. • U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance required to start.Preferred Skills• Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems. • Experience performing Design Verification Tests, Environmental Qualification Testing, and Electromagnetic Interference Qualification Testing. • Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices. • Working knowledge of EOIR systems, sensors, optics, RFEW systems, DSP, antenna design, computational electromagnetics, or RF test equipment. • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and tools such as Cameo. • Experience applying systems engineering principles to develop and execute integration test plans. • Knowledge of MATLAB, C, C++, Java, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience writing and executing test scripts. • Ability to work independently with limited oversight. • Ability and willingness to travel. • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.What You'll Do• Conduct integration testing and evaluate complex electronic systems. • Support system integration from hardware and software design through aircraft installation. • Generate test plans, test procedures, test automation, and test reports. • Execute integration test activities, including system integration, design verification testing, and qualification testing.
