GNC Engineer
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared GNC Engineer in Chandler, AZ for a one-year contract role supporting Northrop Grumman.
The GNC Engineer will support guidance, navigation, and control system development for advanced aerospace applications, including aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, and launch vehicles. This onsite role requires an existing U.S. government Secret or Top Secret clearance, C++, Python, Linux experience, and the ability to support simulation, software, flight code, and control system development.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of professional experience, or master's degree with 0 years of professional experience.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Existing U.S. government Secret or Top Secret clearance required.
- C++ experience.
- Python experience.
- Linux development experience.
- MATLAB experience.
- Ability to design, develop, implement, verify, and test software and simulation toolchains.
- Ability to support guidance, navigation, and control system development.
- Ability to support mathematical modeling, control theory, and algorithm development.
- Ability to analyze system behavior and support technical solution development.
- Ability to integrate hardware and software components.
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Chandler, AZ.

What You'll Do
- Develop and evaluate guidance, navigation, and control systems.
- Support aerospace applications involving aircraft, spacecraft, missiles, or launch vehicles.
- Design, develop, implement, verify, and test simulation and software toolchains.
- Work on 6-degree-of-freedom simulations to design and test flight code.
- Optimize flight software and simulation software.
- Use trajectory optimization software and tools.
- Apply mathematical models, control theories, and algorithms to improve navigation and control performance.
- Analyze system behavior and support design decisions.
- Integrate hardware and software components to support system reliability and mission success.
Work Schedule / Shift
- 9x80 A schedule.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- 100% onsite role; telework is not available.
Pay
- $82.20/hour
