The Operating Room Technician, also known as a surgical technologist, is an essential member of the surgical team, specifically involved with the instrumentation and technical aspects of the operative event. Ability to work as part of a Team.
Qualifications
- Education: High School graduate, GED or 3 years relevant experience required. Graduate from a Surgical Tech program required.
- Experience: One year experience in surgery or prior on the job scrub experience required.
- Licenses/Certifications: Surgical Tech Certification required; BLS certification required through American Heart Association.
