Seasonal Order Clerk I - 2nd shift - $17.00 per hour + $2.00 shift differential

Job TitleThis positions primarily consists of picking books and other materials from racks and packing in boxes for orders to ship.Essential Functions:Must be able to pick product from racksPackage products according to work ordersLabel boxesBuild displays according to work ordersMust be able to work safely around moving equipment and conveyorsOperate various types of equipment, i.e., pallet jack, tape guns, stickering machines, electronic handheld devices, RF scanners, headsets, etc.Work in a non-climatically controlled environment throughout the year.Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for entire shift.Must be able to read and comprehend a basic order form and communicate well with others.Other Responsibilities:Perform rework as requiredMust meet or exceed departmental standards for production, quality, and accuracyMay work in different areas (departments) in operations based on business needsAdheres to facility hours to include overtime and weekendsOther duties as assignedStarting Salary: 2nd shift = $19.00Location: Algoa, McCarty and/or Robinson Road BuildingsHours for 2nd shift:Algoa/East McCarty/Rob Road – Monday-Friday = 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with OT at endPhysical Requirements :Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.Qualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have basic data entry skillsTime Type: Full timeJob Type: Temporary SeasonalJob Family Group: Distrib & Matls MgmtLocation Region/State: MissouriEEO Statement: Scholastic is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
