Description
Responsibilities:
• Move product, utilizing forklifts, to various areas of the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Pull, palletize and verify stock orders, transfers and any other outbound shipments.
• Use forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
• Report any safety or mechanical issues with equipment to Operations Manager.
• Operate RF scan gun.
• Verify product is properly stored at the correct temperatures.
• Identify and notify manager when product does not meet quality standards.
• Help keep product organized and located in the correct locations.
• Receive, down stack, label and put away product as it arrives.
• Perform all necessary tasks in inventory system including printing RF labels.
• Follow all safety requirements and rules for forklift operation.
• Maintain attitude, direction, policy and goals consistent with company values.
• Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 1 yr. experience operating Standup, Sit Down, and Picker powered industrial trucks.
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach
- Able to lift heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
- Positive attitude
