Warehouse Associate
Responsibilities:
Move product, utilizing forklifts, to various areas of the warehouse.
Load and unload trucks.
Pull, palletize and verify stock orders, transfers and any other outbound shipments.
Use forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
Report any safety or mechanical issues with equipment to Operations Manager.
Operate RF scan gun.
Verify product is properly stored at the correct temperatures.
Identify and notify manager when product does not meet quality standards.
Help keep product organized and located in the correct locations.
Receive, down stack, label and put away product as it arrives.
Perform all necessary tasks in inventory system including printing RF labels.
Follow all safety requirements and rules for forklift operation.
Maintain attitude, direction, policy and goals consistent with company values.
Ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Minimum of 1 yr. experience operating Standup, Sit Down, and Picker powered industrial trucks.
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, reach
- Able to lift heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as being a team player
- Positive attitude
