About This Role
The Seasonal Emergency Department RN provides professional nursing care as a leader of the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking for a temporary position in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
- Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
- Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
- Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Mentor, orient, and coach others in unit‑specific operations.
- Organize work to minimize the use of overtime.
- Attend mandatory meetings and participate in professional development.
Requirements
- Education:
- Associate's Degree (ADN) required
- Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year recent experience in Emergency Department
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Current Registered Nurse License in California
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
