We are a high-volume tailoring business serving the Quantico community and active-duty military personnel. We specialize in precision alterations, rank and patch sewing, and repairs for United States Marine Corps uniforms. We take pride in delivering top-quality craftwork on fast turnarounds to keep our service members looking sharp and inspection-ready.
What You'll Do:
* Uniform Alterations & Fitting: Hem, take in, adjust, and alter USMC service, dress, and utility uniforms according to strict military regulations.
* Patch & Rank Sewing: Accurately measure, position, and attach rank insignia, tapes, patches, and chevrons.
* Garment Repairs: Repair and reinforce camouflage uniforms, seams, zippers, and heavy-duty fabrics.
* Maintain High Volume & Speed: Work efficiently to maintain steady turnarounds while upholding high quality standards during peak volume periods.
Requirements:
* Sewing Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers, and hand-sewing techniques.
* Attention to Detail: Ability to follow strict military uniform measurement and placement specifications precisely.
* Pace & Work Ethic: Able to work quickly and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
* Open to Learning: Prior military uniform experience is a huge plus, but less experienced seamstresses are encouraged to apply if you are a fast learner with solid foundational sewing skills.
* Reliability: Dependable, detail-oriented, and focused.
This is a full time position, but flexible hours can be negotiated.
