The position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Strategy. The program leader will be responsible for the horizontal and vertical integration of the programmatic, contractual, and technical elements of the program as captured in the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to help ensure an executable program. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:Establish strategy for alignment and inputs and develop initial what-if plans that will form the basis to eventually integrate the Master Plan and Master Schedule with program definition and overall Program VisionWhat-If analysis to support optimization of program objectivesConsistency / Completeness of the what-if schedules and IMP/IMS with program definition documentation. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.You'll Bring These Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience, OR a master's degree and 8 years of related experienceA minimum of 5 years of formal people leadership experience (team lead, manager or equivalent) in a program-oriented environmentExperience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Planning (WBS/IMP/IMS) on large-scale aerospace or defense programsExperience with enterprise-wide schedule integration toolsExperience with Program Operations functions including:Program ControlSchedulingContractsNegotiationsSubcontractsData CenterFacility PlanningExperience with risk identification, assessment and mitigation in a multi-discipline team settingActive DoD Secret Clearance (or higher) last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluation and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needsThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:MS in STEM or MBA degreeA minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, production program management and master planning specific rolesA minimum of 5 years of experience in process development, process maturation or product life cycle development in both EMD and Production ProgramsCurrent Special Program Access (PAR)Primary Level Salary Range: $193,800.00 - $290,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
