SDET Sr. Test Lead

Customer is looking for SDET (Software Development Engineer in Testing) role.

Skills/Experience

1. 10+ years of hands-on experience in AP automation using Java / REST Assured
2. Hands-on experience in UI automation using Playwright with Java
3. Deep expertise in Core Java, Selenium, TestNG, REST Assured
4. Proven ability to design, implement and scale robust test automation frameworks
5. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with hands-on experience integrating automation into Jenkins
6. Proficiency in JIRA and Agile methodologies
7. Excellent leadership skills to coordinate and mentor onsite and offshore teams
8. Strong communication skills for customer interactions and stakeholder updates

Key Responsibilities:

1. Automation Framework Development: Design and develop scalable UI and API automation frameworks, implement test automation solutions using Java, Rest Assured, and Playwright.
2. CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, promote continuous testing practices.
3. Agile Collaboration & Test Execution:
   1. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
   2. Drive in-sprint and regression automation efforts.
   3. Create and execute automated test scripts for comprehensive test coverage.
4. Leadership & Team Coordination:
   1. Mentor team members in automation best practices.
   2. Manage onsite and offshore collaboration for seamless execution.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
   1. Provide regular automation progress updates.
   2. Engage in scrum calls and customer discussions.
