We love people who think big and like to get their hands dirty to help us build exciting initiatives.Responsibilities:Maintain and expand automated test infrastructure of an embedded software productPartner with developers to create, maintain and execute automated integration and functional testsTranslate user stories into test scenarios and cases and provide feedback to ensure testability of all storiesWrite, execute and maintain end-to-end system integration scenarios and user acceptance scenarios for the large-scale platformCreate and execute story validation tests in an Agile environmentWork with Product owners and users to create and execute user testsCollaborate with other business groups and external teams for end-to-end integrationCollaborate with DevOps to integrate the automated tests in the CI/CD pipelinesEnsure functionality remains consistent across multiple spoken languagesModify existing code to support project requirementsEngage in code reviews alongside more experienced developers to receive valuable feedbackCreate and update technical documentation, including code comments, user guides, and documentation for APIs or librariesAssist in estimating the scope and time required for tasks, contributing to project planning and managementRequired Qualifications:5+ years of software engineering experience creating and executing automated tests2+ years of experience in Java or Python programmingExperience working with Linux/Unix based systemsExperience testing back-end services and/or APIsExperience with a scripting language (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Bash, or PowerShell)Experience with test automation and an automation frameworkExperience with CI/CD and updating build pipelines and pipeline tasksExperience in estimation, prioritization, and planning/coordination of testing activities in an Agile environmentFamiliar with systems like Jira or similar for tracking purposes and ensuring traceability among test cases, code, and requirementsYou are not afraid to spend time performing manual tests yet have the urge to automate those as efficiently as possibleHands on experience applying current best practices and principles in software developmentDemonstrates problem-solving, troubleshooting, decision making skillsSolutions-oriented with an ability to keep an open mind while finding agreeable solutionsOrganized and detail-orientedAbility to develop healthy working relationships and collaborate with peers and leadersExhibits integrity and high standards in work qualityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsValues diversity and differences amongst individuals in interactionsNice to Have:Experience in validation or delivery of connected car services is a plusExperience with Python and Spark is a plusExperience solving several real-life problems using SeleniumExperience in behavior driven development and test-driven development scenarios and frameworks such as Cucumber, Jbehave/JGiven, etc.
