SM QualificationsEvery single item of the following I am expecting detailed examples of experience, not simply knowledge of:Advance knowledge of SAFe/Agile principals but not a purist and willing to be flexible to team dynamics. If I have to teach Safe principles or how/when to apply them, then we will have a problem.Technical knowledge is key but more specifically experience leading teams involved with AWS infrastructure; needs to be able to interface with other DEV teams and align on tasks.SM needs to be able to understand what every DEV is working on and clear communication skills to articulate status and next steps.SM needs to be able to visualize "Done" for every feature and forecast/track overall work to specific deadlines. Be able to foresee impact/missed deadlines.Be able to review features/stories and confirm whether item meets "Definition of Ready" to be worked on.SM needs to be a Lean, Efficiency Leader – someone who spots inefficiencies via effective retros and more importantly takes action to resolve.Again I need a leader, not someone who needs to be told and monitored on how/what to go do.
A contractor SM is a tough role because they often struggle to pushback with employees.I need a determined, professional individual who is not afraid of conflict but also is not a jerk - they will have my support and backing.***This team is a fast-paced bunch of Devs – individual needs to be quick on their feet*** Requires advance skills in managing context switching.Requires comfort in staying up multiple nights (weekly), overnight period ranges between 8pm-4am (this is only for deployments and all senior candidates will understand).
